01 — Scope

Scope and acceptance

These terms set a clear baseline for using our website and taking part in the visitor pathways it supports.

  1. Acceptance of terms

When you browse https://theembergrovee.com, submit an enquiry, make a booking request or otherwise use a website pathway, you agree to comply with these Terms and Conditions. They apply to your use of the information and functions made available through the site. If you do not agree with them, please do not continue to use the website or submit information through it. These terms do not require you to create an account or use any separate account system.

  2. What the terms cover

These terms apply to website content, booking and enquiry pathways, restaurant visits, group experiences and, where relevant, participation in Theem Bergrovee card-lounge events. They also apply to social offline poker sessions and real poker tables as in-person venue experiences. Instructions displayed during an enquiry or booking process, and reasonable guidance given at the venue, may apply alongside these terms. Please read those directions carefully when they are relevant to your visit or gathering.

  3. Updates to terms

We may revise these terms from time to time to reflect changes to our website or venue operations. Any revised version takes effect when it is published on this page. We encourage you to check the effective date when returning to the website so you can see which version applies. For this version, the effective date is 9 September 2026. We do not rely on a separate notification system for updates to this page.

02 — Website use

Website use and information

Use the site as a practical way to explore the venue, its dining, gatherings and enquiry options.

Permitted personal use

You may use this website for personal, lawful purposes connected with exploring Theem Bergrovee, restaurant dining, events and enquiries. Please do not interfere with the site, attempt to bypass its security or use it in a way that disrupts another visitor’s access. Information provided through a booking or enquiry pathway should be honest, current and relevant to the request. We ask that you use the website thoughtfully, so its information and functions remain useful for everyone planning a visit.

Accuracy and changing details

Theem Bergrovee aims to keep website information useful and current. However, menu items, availability, experiences and other venue details may change as our restaurant dining, social card-lounge events and group experiences evolve. Website material is a helpful guide, not a guarantee that a particular item, arrangement or experience will be available. Please confirm the details that matter to your plans during your enquiry or booking process, especially where availability or a group arrangement is relevant.

Third-party destinations

If the website includes a link to a third-party website or service, that destination is provided for convenience only. Its own terms, privacy practices and operating information will apply once you leave our site. Theem Bergrovee does not control those separate destinations and is not responsible for their content or availability. Before using a third-party service, please review its terms and privacy information and decide whether it is suitable for you.

03 — Visits

Bookings, visits and group arrangements

Clear information and considerate communication help us understand what you are planning.

Booking and enquiry details

Please provide accurate, current information when making a booking request or group enquiry, including suitable contact details for follow-up. A request made through the website is subject to confirmation by Theem Bergrovee and to venue availability. We may need to clarify details before confirming an arrangement. For a question connected with a booking or group request, use the relevant website pathway or contact [email protected]. Providing information in good faith helps us respond clearly and consider the request properly.

Arrival and venue instructions

During a visit, guests should follow reasonable venue guidance relating to seating, service, shared spaces and hosted sessions. These directions are intended to support the comfort and safety of guests and the relaxed flow of the venue. We ask for a welcoming approach to staff, fellow diners and other participants when guidance is given. This does not create a fixed set of arrangements for every visit; instructions may reasonably differ according to the gathering, shared space or experience taking place.

Group experiences

Organisers of group visits should communicate their requirements accurately and keep us informed if relevant details change. Dining arrangements and social card-lounge gatherings remain subject to confirmation by Theem Bergrovee. Where practical, early communication gives us the best opportunity to understand the shape of an in-person gathering, without creating a required lead time. Please do not assume an arrangement is confirmed until the venue has confirmed it with you. This helps keep expectations clear for organisers and guests alike.

04 — Card lounge

Card lounge and social poker participation

Our card-lounge and poker-table activities are designed for social, in-person entertainment at the venue, using real tables, cards and chips. Offline poker, in-person poker and every social card-lounge session are part of a shared gathering, with conversation, friendly strategy and table etiquette at their centre. They are not an online product or remote activity. We invite guests to approach these sessions with care for the people around the table and the welcoming atmosphere of the venue.

Respectful table conduct

Participants are expected to follow reasonable host or venue guidance, treat fellow guests respectfully and use cards, chips, tables and shared spaces with care. Friendly strategy and considered table etiquette are welcome when they leave room for everyone to enjoy the session. Theem Bergrovee may address conduct that disrupts the comfort, safety or enjoyment of others. We do not publish an exhaustive rule set here; practical directions given for a particular social card-lounge session should be followed.

Session access and venue discretion

Participation, seating and session arrangements depend on venue capacity, availability and reasonable venue direction. Poker nights are in-person social occasions, and guests should follow local venue rules and responsible participation guidance while attending. We may adjust an arrangement where it is reasonably necessary for the venue or those present. Please arrive ready to take part in the shared setting with respect for the table, the hosted session and the comfort of other guests.

05 — Shared spaces

Conduct, safety and refusal of service

A calm, considerate environment depends on the way each visitor uses shared spaces.

Shared-space care

All visitors should act respectfully toward other guests, the venue, staff, furnishings and shared facilities. This applies across restaurant areas, card-lounge spaces and poker tables. Please avoid conduct that is disruptive, unsafe or damaging, so Theem Bergrovee can remain a relaxed place for in-person gatherings. Consideration for a shared table or room includes making space for others, using venue items with care and responding reasonably when a staff member asks for help maintaining the atmosphere.

Safety and reasonable directions

Guests must follow reasonable safety and venue directions. Where possible, raise a concern promptly with the venue team during your visit so it can be understood in context. Directions may support the comfort and wellbeing of everyone present in a dining area, card-lounge space or hosted session. We aim to keep guidance practical and proportionate, and ask visitors to respond in the same spirit. This clause does not replace any rights or obligations that apply under law.

Venue response

Theem Bergrovee may decline, pause or end access to the website, a booking arrangement, an event or venue participation where reasonably necessary to protect guests, the venue or the experience. We will seek to act proportionately and lawfully in the circumstances. This may be appropriate where conduct affects the safety, comfort or enjoyment of others, or where reasonable venue guidance is not followed. This response clause is separate from the shared expectation that every visitor contributes to a considerate environment.

A considered table makes room for everyone.
